DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that Connect Thru Cancer has been selected by The Chester Valley Women’s Golf Association as the beneficiary of this year’s Ladies Memorial Golf Tournament on September 4th and 6th. The tournament is played to in loving memory of all the wonderful women who have golfed before us. \nProceeds from this event will help support CTC’s mission of providing FREE cancer support programs to individuals and families living with a cancer diagnosis. Donations can be made through September 14th. \n

This incredible program supports families undergoing cancer treatment by purchasing gift list items from your children’s Christmas List. Our generous donors will purchase items as a way to help make this stressful season a little easier and allow you to focus on your healing. \nMore details will be provided once you are confirmed. We hope this program enables you to focus on your healing this holiday season while the Secret Santas take care of your holiday shopping. SUMMARY:"Ask The Doc" Series - Fatigue
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the next session of CTC’s virtual “Ask the Doc” series with Kinetic’s Dr. Erin Helm\, focusing on the topic of fatigue. Dr Helm is a licensed physical therapist\, researcher and faculty member at Widener University providing education in oncology.  \n\nCancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common side effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Compared to the fatigue experienced by someone without a cancer diagnosis\, CRF can be more severe\, more distressing\, and less likely to be relieved by rest. These symptoms may start before treatment and continue even after treatment is completed. In the upcoming presentation\, we will discuss the common symptoms of cancer-related fatigue\, strategies to manage symptoms and improve quality of life\, and when to seek out additional support. \n\n \nRegistration is required and a Zoom link will be sent.\nRegistration Link
