DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the next session of CTC’s virtual “Ask the Doc” series with Kinetic’s Dr. Erin Helm\, focusing on the topic of fatigue. Dr Helm is a licensed physical therapist\, researcher and faculty member at Widener University providing education in oncology.  \n\nCancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common side effects of cancer and cancer treatment. Compared to the fatigue experienced by someone without a cancer diagnosis\, CRF can be more severe\, more distressing\, and less likely to be relieved by rest. These symptoms may start before treatment and continue even after treatment is completed. In the upcoming presentation\, we will discuss the common symptoms of cancer-related fatigue\, strategies to manage symptoms and improve quality of life\, and when to seek out additional support. \n\n \nRegistration is required and a Zoom link will be sent.\nRegistration Link

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the next session of CTC’s virtual “Ask the Doc” series with Kinetic’s Dr. Erin Helm\, focusing on the topic of neuropathy. Dr Helm is a licensed physical therapist\, researcher and faculty member at Widener University providing education in oncology.  \n\nWhen chemotherapy damages peripheral nerves\, it is called chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy\, or CIPN. Symptoms of CIPN can vary from sensation changes and pain or numbness to weakness in the hands and feet that impact how you perform your daily activities.
